Medicate guides the listener through an immersive and intense journey into the darker corners of the human psyche, articulated through the sonic mediums of dark ambient, drone, and noise. Each track invites the listener to confront uncomfortable emotions and the darker aspects of experience, encouraging a form of meditation through sound. And while this plunge into the dark never fully brightens, it does promise a glimpse into the light, if only for a moment.
